An update regarding Unity


Hi. Been a while, I know.

I've been working on big stuff for Project LAMBDA, but I have some bad news.

As of now, development of Project LAMBDA is paused for the time being as I migrate to Unreal Engine.

Why? Because of Unity's terrible decision on pricing, that effects Unity Personal. Even though my projects don't get basically any downloads, I don't want to use the software of a company that makes these kinds of decisions for their products. Besides, Unreal Engine is better for fidelity and optimization, and in my personal opinion is a better engine in general. The only reason I used Unity was because it was simpler to use and I had some more experience using it.

As a result of this, development is going to be paused for a good amount of time. I've decided on trying to migrate Project LAMBDA to Unreal Engine some way or another, but as I don't know much about Unreal Engine, I'll have to first learn before I can even start rebuilding the project. This will take a while.

Just know, I am not discontinuing Project LAMBDA. I'm going to do my best to stick by it, no matter how long it takes to resume working on it.
